Obituary of Marilyn Sue Nesmith

Marilyn Sue Nesmith, 63, New Florence went to be with the Lord August 22, 2015 at home. Born November 4, 1951 in Johnstown the daughter of late Gerald and Maxine (Long) Heming. Also preceded in death by brother Brad Heming. Survived by husband of 45 years David Nesmith; sons Shawn Nesmith and girlfriend Darlene Bracken, New Florence; Rick Nesmith and wife Amy, Bolivar; grandchildren Sierra, Colton and Cameron Nesmith; brother Todd Heming and wife Shirley, North Carolina; sister-in-law Toni Heming, New Florence; Uncle Rick Heming and wife Pat, Seward; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Attended New Life Church, New Florence; Retired teacher from United School District who received a B.S. in Education from I.U.P. and a Master Degree from University of Connecticut. She was an avid reader who enjoyed drawing, cruises and horseback riding. Friends received from 6-8 pm Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where serve will be held 11 am Thursday, Pastor Joseph Walls officiating. Internment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
