Obituary of Dorothy B Yeager

Yeager, Dorothy B., 95, Bolivar went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2015 at Beacon Ridge Manor. Born May 4, 1920 in Pittsburgh the daughter of the late Walter and Florence (York) Eckhardt. Also preceded in death by husband Edward D. Yeager; son Walter J. Yeager; step-mother Mary Hastings-Eckhardt; sister May L. Garnett and brother Earl Eckhardt. Survived by children Mary Jane James and husband Robert, Bolivar; Martha May Tejchman and husband Ronald, Oakmont; Charles Yeager and wife Hazel, Robinson; Daughter-in-law Nancy Yeager, Bolivar; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchild. Dorothy was a member of the First Church of Christ, Bolivar. She was known for her hearty laugh. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence and 10 till time of service at 11 AM Saturday, at First Church of Christ, 3049 Rt. 259, Bolivar, with Christopher Hopper officiating. Interment Fort Palmer Cemetery.
