I'm saddened to learn of Stan's passing. "Stush" was my supervisor and mentor during the 1970's at Florence Mining and provided a wealth of knowledge, wisdom and support in that role. His sense of humor, positive attitude and "hook-on participation" made difficult tasks tolerable and successful for many young miners. May he rest in eternal peace.

So sorry to hear about your father. I met him through your sister Pat; we were roommates at Penn State Altoona. I recall him being so much fun. My sister even remembers him at my wedding pulling her up to Polka. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Our prayers are with the family. God has another angel in heaven.

So sorry for your loss... "Pappy" was a great guy.. He loved a good time, to laugh, practical joker... Most of all he was a wonderful grandfather... He loved my kids, and they loved him right back... And also my grandchildren.. They too always enjoyed going "back to the farm" for a visit... He will be missed.. May he be reunited with his family members in heaven, and rest in peace.. God Bless our prayers are going out to the grieving family...

RIP Stan -- one of my favorite residents of Clyde. So many wonderful memories in and around the firehall. They surely don't get much better than Stan. My deepest condolences Bobby, Denny, and Mary Ann. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
