Obituary of Mary C Banko

Banko, Mary C., 93, Seward passed away January 19, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born December 27, 1922 in Johnstown the daughter of late Fred and Jennie (Penrod) Golby. Also preceded in death by husband Frank Banko; sons Kenneth and David "Bing" Banko; granddaughter Paulette Banko; brothers Fred "Bud", James, Walter and Charles Edward Golby; survived by children Dorothy Mundorf, Bolivar; Ethel Banko, Canton, Mich.; Claire (Ted) Steipen, Johnstown; Charles "Chub" (Jennifer) Banko, Johnstown; Margaret (Ron) Gyure, New Florence; Gloria (Tim) Brown, Armagh; Donald (Pat) Banko, New Florence, Linda (Ed) Fogel, Johnstown; daughter-in-law Trisha Banko, Seward; 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; sister Shirley J. McFarland, Weymouth, Mass.; special neighbor and friend Linda Custer, Seward. Mary was a member of Armagh-Seward United Presbyterian Church where she was active in Bible study group, also a member of Laurel Valley Senior Center, New Florence, Armagh Senior Citizens and Seward Vol. Fire Co. Aux. Friends will be received 6-8 PM Sunday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St. where service will be held 11 AM Tuesday. Rev.
