Obituary of Wayne Boring

Wayne H. Boring, 75, Seward passed away March 2, 2016 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born September 4, 1940 in Johnstown the son of the late Ray & Julia (Settlemire) Boring. Also preceded in death by in-laws John and Mary Helen Spinda, grandson Derek Wayne Rodkey, brothers Ray Jr., Vernon "Runt" and Gary Boring. Survived by Beloved wife of over 52 years Patricia (Spinda) Boring; children Mark R. Boring and wife Denise (Seach), Clairton; Pamela S. Rodkey and husband Rick, Armagh; Eric Boring and MaryAnn Lambrinos, Seward; grandchildren Adam Michael Rodkey and wife Amanda; Jason Andrew Rodkey and fiancé Chelsey; Kara Lee Nickolich; Colton Derek Boring; Caden Jakob Boring; Cullen John; great-grandson Derek Wesley Rodkey; brothers Galen Boring and wife Lynn Atlanta, GA; Terry Boring and wife Susan, Johnstown and many nieces and nephews. Faithful companions Balto and Cassie. A 1959 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School, Wayne taught welding and auto body repair through Manpower Development Training Act in Johnstown School District and also thought the C.E.T.A Program. He was a member of the Boiler Makers Union, Local #154, working mostly with various companies in Eastern U.S. Wayne served and was honorably discharged from the United States Army and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward and A&EW Sportsman Club. Also a former volunteer with the Boys Scouts. He loved spending his time fishing, hunting, taking his dogs for a walk. Friends received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 10 AM Monday. Rev. Ron Cyktor officiating internment Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.
