Obituary of Evan S Sowers

Sowers, Evan, S., 6, Bolivar, passed away March 4, 2016. Born June 11, 2009 in Johnstown, the son of Jeffrey and Monica (Anderson) Sowers. In addition to his parents he is also survived by Paternal grandparents Ken and Sheila (Baird) Sowers, Bolivar; maternal grandmother Tunya (Anderson) Bailey, Armagh; aunts and uncles Brad Sowers and wife Brooke; Stacey Smith and husband Shawn; Derek Anderson and Katlyn Bailey. Maternal great grandmother Minnie Jones and numerous extended family members. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather George Bailey. Attended Easter Seals School in Export. Evan loved life and always had a smile on his face. He loved Penguins hockey, Ranger rides around the farm, swinging, swimming and listening to Adel. He was a member of the miracle league baseball team of Indiana County and loved his family excursions and beach trips. Friends received 6-8 PM Monday and 1-3 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held 1 PM Wednesday. Rev. Norman Kaufman officiating. Internment Fort Palmer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family so that they can forward and divide among the charities that have assisted Evan.
