Joseph Morell, 88, Seward passed away October 4, 2016 at Golden Heights Personal Care Home, Harrison City. Born March 8, 1928 in Hollsopple, the son of the late John and Mary Morell. Also preceded in death by wife of 44 years Lois Jean (Gibson) Morell; brothers John, Fred, Frank, William and Elmer. Survived by sons Joseph Morell and wife Roxanne, Harrison City; John Morell, Armagh; grandchildren Jessica Morell and Bryan Morell Jessica Morell and Bryan Morell; sister Mary Stroke, Acosta; serval nieces and nephews. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, U.S Army Veteran of World War II; retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp with 34 years of service. Volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul and Windber Hospital. Joe Enjoyed reading about history, gardening and riding his bicycle most of all he enjoyed speeding time with his grandchildren. Friends received from 9:30 -11:15 AM Saturday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E Philadelphia St., Armagh Mass of Christian burial 11:30 am Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St., Seward. Rev. Robert Washko officiating, Interment Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Veteran Charity.
