Remembered Ernie well, as I was as a drummer for him and several other local musicians, while attending IUP, in late '73 and early '74. I will forever cherish the time and experience gained, particularly as I hadn't played much Country music up to that point. Ernie and friends were an honest entry into that genre. I can still hear his voice and see his rhythmic strums on his guitar. My sincere condolences to his entire family.
