Obituary of Dorothy I Mountan

Mountan, Dorothy I., 78, Blairsville, went home to be with the Lord December 14, 2016 at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana. Born July 8, 1938 in Cherry Tree, the daughter of the late Oran and Lola (Goss) Frampton. Also, preceded in death by brother George Frampton and sister Leona Babcoe. Survived by husband of 55 years Leo Mountan, daughters Beverly Heckathorn and husband Bill, Blairsville; Tina Doverspike and husband Tim, Latrobe; sons Tom Mountan and wife Tammy, Blairsville; Ricky Mountan and wife Lori, Brush Valley; 15 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. Dorothy was a member of Beacon Independent Baptist Church in Bolivar and retired nurses aid at Indian Haven. An avid Pittsburgh Steeler, Penguin and Pirate fan, she enjoyed spending her time sewing, crocheting, baking, camping and most of all spending time with her family. Friends received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 10 AM Saturday. Pastor Paul Lint officiating. Interment Brush Valley Lutheran Cemetery.
