Findley, Mary Ann (Weinzierl), 86, Armagh, passed away February 7, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born October 18, 1930 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Isadore and Marie (Sellman) Weinzierl. Also, preceded in death by husband of 47 years Albert "Bert" Findley, brothers William, Arthur, Joseph and James Weinzierl; sister-in-law Anna Marie (Grexa) Weinzierl and very special cousin Jean Reed; mother-in-law and father-in-law Rose (Lewis) and Albert Findley; sisters-in-law Reva Cramer and husband Clair, Alberta Miller and husband Clark, Mary Lazarian and husband Harry, Margaret (Carney) Neely and husbands Fred Carney and Elmer Neely; brothers-in-law William and John Findley. Survived by children David Findley and wife Elaine (Klotz) and Sharon Gibbons and husband Daniel, both of Vintondale; grandsons Scott Gibbons and wife Emily (Knopfel), Crest View Hills, KY; Eric Gibbons, Vintondale; brothers Robert and wife Mary (Boes); Lester and wife Eileen (Platt); Thomas and wife Mary Kay (Morris); sister Margaret Martin widow of Thomas Martin, all of Johnstown; sisters-in-law Rosemarie (Bodenschatz) Weinzierl; Pauline (Horvath) Weinzierl, both of Johnstown; Shirley Findley, Cleveland, OH; and special cousin Nancy Camut, South Carolina. Many beloved nieces and nephews and neighborhood kids that were like her nieces and nephews. Retired assistant post master for the Armagh Post Office, she belonged to the Armagh Red Hats, Fire Co. Ladies' Auxiliary and Armagh Senior Center. She enjoyed her long phone calls from her sister Mag, that never seemed to end until one of their phones started beeping .. low battery. Mary Ann loved playing cards with her family and especially with her sister-in-law Rosemarie and her kids, spending summer evenings on her porch swing with devoted neighbor friends Audrey Young, Ginny Stewart and Betty Fry and going out to long lunches with her sister, cousins and sisters-in-law, that were like sisters to her. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Mass of Christian burial 10 AM Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St., Seward, PA 15944. Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
