Obituary of Mark Harry Howard

Howard, Mark Harry, 61, late of New Florence, and formerly of Stephens City and Clear Brook, VA passed away February 28, 2017. Mark was born August 21, 1955 in Johnstown. He graduated from Laurel Valley H.S. and Penn Tech in Pittsburgh in 1974. Mark worked for the federal government as an information I.T. tech Specialist in the G.S.A. for 27 years and won the eagle award along with many other awards. He married his wife Mildred (Castelli) Howard in January 1975. Loving father of Mark Patrick "J.R." Howard and his wife Betty Jo (Carter) Howard and Michael Curtis Howard; Pap Pap of Jordan Mark Howard; brothers Daniel F. Howard and wife Shirley Howard, and Stephen L. Howard and wife Melinda Howard; sisters Shirley M. Shick and husband Dennis Shick; Trudy Nixon. Preceded in death by father Harry F. Howard and mother Phyllis M. (Fisher) Howard. Friends received 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at New Life Church, 153 Crawford Rd., New Florence, PA 15944 where service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday Pastor Joseph Walls officiating.
