I have such pleasant memories of Bugsy. Always on his bike, looking for cans...and if I remember right further back in time pop bottles on 259 and through Bolivar. He always had a big smile on his face and a friendly hello. You will be missed Elmer. Rest in Peace.
with love in Christ,
Karen Hughes Murphy

The residence of Scenery Hill Manor extend their condolences to the family of Elmer. We enjoyed seeing him daily as he "strolled" through the halls. Elmer was quick to offer a wave and a smile.
He enjoy being with his friends while participating in activities. Bingo, word search puzzles (which he finished quickly) and earning prizes were things he loved.
Elmer was faithful in attending church services and was truly a faith-filled man. Elmer was our friend and we miss him greatly.

With deepest sympathy and much love, for Nellie and family. There are so many memories since I came back to Pa, of Junior, Uncle Elmer and you Nellie. You are like a sister to me, though we are cousins. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family. I will miss him and his unique personality. Seeing him riding his bike with his flouresent jacket picking up cans along the road. His bright smile and love. Everyone knew him and watched out for him. With his disability, he did his best and was quite a guy. Love you Nellie.
