Obituary of Ethel Lee Rager

Rager, Ethel "Lee", 76, Nanty Glo, passed away May 4, 2017 at home. Born April 18, 1941 in Wellington, New Zealand, the daughter of the late John M. Cardno and Margaret Lewis Allen. Also, preceded in death by grandson Robert Friedman, three sisters and four brothers. Survived by husband of 54 years Harry W. Rager, Jr.; daughters Brenda Friedman and husband Robert, Nanty Glo, and their sons Ryan Friedman and fiancé Kasey and Ryan's daughter Riley, NY and Daniel Friedman, Nanty Glo; Tina Cominsky and husband Henry, Mobile, AL, and their children Steven Cominsky and Steven's children Niesha, Travon and Gianna, Matt Cominsky, and Nicole Gardner and husband Hunter; Fay Shumaker and husband Alvin, Harrison City, and Fay's children Brittany Beresford and husband Scott, David Closson and Joshua Shumaker; sisters Fay Vercoe and husband Digby and Thyra Cardno, all of New Zealand. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sorely missed by all. At Lee's request, there will be no public visitation or service. Family assisted by Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home
