We will miss you Duck. We want to thank you again for all the good advice you gave when we were kids. You are one of the last "town" matriarchs who kept our town in order. You shoveled snow before anybody was out and about. You swept the sidewalks to help keep New Florence neat and tidy and you never missed a discarded penny from its former owner. You truly earned your new life in heaven because all your life you were a good and kind person to anybody who would take the time to know you. Fly on the wings of the angels my friend. Till we meet again....so long for now.

The town of New Florence has lost a good citizen. His knowledge of New Florence and the surrounding area is a great loss. He took care of New Florence in his own way for decades and will be missed by many. I will miss seeing you Mr. Haire. Thanks and God Bless.

Just wanted to say that I enjoyed Duck and his stories. He loved playing the lottery helping a friend in need. A elite member of the good ole boys coffee club who met everyday at Uni-mart. Many many people would always stop and chat with Duck young or old it didn't matter to listen to his wisdom and he sure loved to argue with Buckeye!! You will be missed my Friend

Duck was "one of a kind" and was a regular at Peck's. Always ready for a little fun whether it was spotting deer or catching a possum. Simply a good guy.
