I only knew Donald from the store Waynes Market in Robinson, PA. I'd take multiple walks down to the store to find him sitting on that green bench with his friends. Laughing and making jokes. Having a good time. I'd chat him up with my friend. And he'd always joke about our new trends and how odd they look. I didn't know him personally but enough that when I saw that truck pull up into the parking lot, an amazing guy like him was sure going to teach me something new that day. Once I heard what happened, I felt empty like those memories just vanished. That bench is now just a bench, and his truck is just a truck. When they use to be a symbol to me as hope and genuine happiness. My condolences for your loss.
