Obituary of Neil D Farnam

Farnam, Neil D., 62, Robinson, passed away July 19, 2017 at UPMC Shadyside. Born September 24, 1954 in Bonners Ferry, ID, the son of the late Percy Emerson Farnam and Janet (Shurtlieff) Dickson. In addition to his father he is also preceded in death by sister Lea Ann Keslar, brother Ernest E. Dickson, step-father Ernest T. Dickson; niece Tara Swope; great-nephew Kye Mitchell; Survived by mother, Janet Dickson, Robinson; children Matthew Farnam and wife Michelle, Irwin; Heather Farnam Parsons, Seward; grandchildren Sabrina Farnam, Symantha McGrath, Tiernan McGrath, Colton Farnam; great-grandson Braylen; sisters Kay Brett, Robinson; Patty Yates, Vaiden, MS; brother Roger Dickson, Hot Springs, AR; former wife Jane Boring, New Florence and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Neil enjoyed photography, astronomy, scuba diving, was gifted in math and physics and could make or fabricate almost anything. Member of Pipeliners Local Union 798. Friends received from Noon til 2 pm Saturday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Funeral service and interment at Germany Lutheran Cemetery to immediately follow.
