Obituary of Bertha L. Lindsey

Bertha L. Lindsey,102, New Florence, passed away October 3, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born September 21, 1915 in West Wheatfield Twp. near Clyde, she was the daughter of Samuel T. Brendlinger and Johanna E. (Yoorman) Brendlinger. Her family was her life she loved everyone of them her hobbies were quilting and crocheting afghans. She was a loving mother and mother-in-law. Surviving her are seven children five boys and two girls. Lyle and his wife Nancy, Armagh; Cecil and his wife Judy, New Florence; Thomas and his wife Janet, Cape Coral, FL; Raymond and his wife Marjorie, New Florence; Patricia Anthony and husband Melvin, Whitesburg; Carol and husband Ronald, New Florence; William and his wife Andree, New Florence; daughter-in-law Patricia, Armagh; 18 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 31 great-great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents. Her husband and best friend of 62 years Russell in February of 1997, a son Ronald in August of 2006, an infant grandson and great great-grandson. Also preceding her were 5 brothers and 5 sisters, Walter, Arthur, Alonzo, Henry, Thomas and Stella, Lena, Ida, Minerva, Erma. Friends received 6-8 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 AM Saturday. Pastor James Sunseri officiating, interment Bethel Cemetery.
