Obituary of Jack L Rager

Jack Lloyd Rager Sr, 74, Vintondale died October 25, 2011 at UPMC Presbyterian. Born October 18, 1937 in Vintondale the son of late of late Adam and Cora (Beard) Rager. Brothers George and Edwin Rager; sister Shirley Lynch. Survived by wife of 54 years Sarah (Cessna) Rager; children Debbie Adamsky and husband Mike; Lynn Michaels and husband Homer Jr, all of Homer City; Jack Rager Jr, Ebensburg; Barb Mayall, Blairsville; Dianna Stiffler, Hanover; Jeff Rager, Vintondale; grandchildren Shawn and Matthew Michaels, Paul and Amy Rager, Kelly Yerka, Chad Adamsky, Joshua, Christopher and Jeremy Stiffler; 8 great-grandchildren; and these brothers and sisters, Lucille Plowman, Seward; Robert and Glenn Rager, both Vintondale; Naomi Rager, Johnstown; Paul Rager, Brainerd, MN; Bonnie Brendlinger; Vintondale; Kenneth Rager, College Park, MD; Ira Rager, Rockville, MD; David Rager, Laurel, MD. Jack was a retired coal miner and member of UMWA. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and very hard worker. Friends received 10 till time of memorial service 11 am Saturday at Valley Grace Brethren Church, 11815 Route 56 Hwy E, Armagh with Rev. Norris B. Mason officiating. Interment Armgah Cemetery.
