Carney, Joel W. "Goobie", 53, New Florence died March 21, 2012 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born February 10, 1959 in Johnstown the son of late Fred W. and Mary Jane (Wyant) Carney. Survived by these brothers and sisters James, California; Joan Reidell, Dilltown; Janet Shelby, NC; Jean Blakesey, Port St. Lucie, FL; John Palm City, FL; mother Mary Eileen Rager and sister Stacy Myers, both New Florence. Goobie was a big NASCAR fan who enjoyed motorcycles, guns, shooting and hunting. Memorial service to be announced at a later date. Family assisted by Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence.
