Uncle John loved family! There are many memories of visits he made to see us in Ohio -- always with bowling balls in tow -- and visits we made to Pennsylvania. Uncle John, Aunt Ruth, John's daughter, & her girls even made the trip to our wedding in July 1987; the precious gift of his presence on our special day. A rainbow of images are captured in my heart: Uncle John's eyebrows doing the most extraordinary things, his suspenders, his lopsided smile, always sliding off his loafers when he came inside, his hearty laughter, his jokes, his strong hugs....Thank you, Uncle John for everything! I am so happy you are at rest and visiting with your loved ones who have gone before us! I thank God for the blessing of Uncle John in my life!
