Obituary of Joyce A Silk

Joyce A. Silk, 67, Fairfield Twp., passed away November 18, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born January 4, 1956, in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Warren and Nancy (Boring) Cable.  

Survived by loving husband Neil of 36 years, children Jessica Palmer & husband Jason, Bolivar; Graham Silk and Rachelle Rush, Ligonier; Angela Silk and fiancé Josh Roberts, Ligonier; grandchildren Jacob, Jameson, Jocelyn, and Parker.     

Joyce was a very selfless person.  Family was always Joyce’s top priority.  She enjoyed feeding, and taking care of everyone, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Wednesday.  Pastor Robert Penrose officiating.  Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
