I would like to give my deepest sympathies to Bill's family. I first met Bill as a young teenager looking for work. Little did I know that clearing stones from a field would lead to a great friendship that taught me many life lessons. Outside my father, Bill taught me what it meant to be a productive member of society. Even though his body would not cooperate with him due to his MS, his mind and spirit was sharp. Bill taught hard work, honesty, money management, and was a true giver. Even though it has been many years since I worked on the farm for Bill I still think back to our talks after a day of work. I will cherish the memories of driving Bill around the farm he loved and our trips out for ice cream which usually lead to Wendy's for a Frosty. Bill, thank you for all you had done for me. It truly made a great impact on my life. Rest in peace......
Your friend,
Mike Zimmerman
